Caroline Wozniacki takes on Svetlana Kuznetsova tonight in the fourth round of the US Open.

A hot crowd is expected at Flushing Meadows tonight in a rematch of a memorable fourth round clash between the two back in 2009.

One that occasion, Wozniacki came back from a set down to clinch a 2-6 7-6 7-6 victory and this evening, the pairing will meet again at this stage in New York.

Kuznetsova will be looking to make amends for the 2009 loss, but Wozniacki - who was seeded ninth two years ago - is the world No. 1 this time around and is back in good form.

The Dane returned to form with a recent title victory at the WTA New Haven and enjoyed a solid start to her US Open campaign during week one, putting an end to Vania King’s campaign in round three.

Wozniacki has met Kuznetsova on court twice since the win two years ago, and has cruised past the Russian on hard courts on both occasions.

Kuznetsova is a former US Open champion, however, and it’s unlikely that she’ll be on the receiving end of another heavy defeat against the 21-year-old.
